Description:
Thanks to
this machine, the abductor muscles of the legs, as well as some portions of the
glutes, are developed effectively in a position offering maximum safety and
comfort.
The cams
minimise the effort at the beginning and end of the exercise, allowing for a
constant tension throughout the entire movement.
The
comfortable push pads and the stabilising handles make this machine appreciated
especially by female users, to strengthen and tone up the outer thigh.

Description:
Raises on
tiptoe on the calf machine are an exercise which should be learnt and performed
well, to avoid any stress to the spine. The muscles affected are the
gastrocnemius muscles (twins), musculus soleus, peroneus longus, peroneus brevis
and the plantaris.
The
shoulder pad can be adjusted according to the user's height and the two
handgrips allow for a concentration work; the feet should be positioned so that
the metatarsal heads of the feet rest on the front half of the footplate.
The fibres
of the gastrocnemius muscle require heavy weights and few repetitions to be
developed: in fact, thanks to its special structure, the FI 27 machine is fitted
with a weight stack that makes it suitable for all types of conditioning.

Description:
When
performing the plantar flexion exercise on the seated calf machine, the user
prevalently uses the musculus soleus. The fibres of the musculus soleus, unlike
those of the gastrocnemius muscle, are tough but not powerful, thus requiring a
high number of repetitions with light weights.
The load
rollers and seat are height-adjustable.
The easy
access lever enables comfortable positioning, so that the metatarsal heads of
the user's feet rest on the front half of the footplate.
The
lateral positioning of the counterweights allows for the load to be selected
directly from the workout position.

Description:
On this
machine, too, just like on the DONKEY MACHINE, the weight is applied on the
pelvis and the only free joint is the ankle, while the effort is concentrated on
the gastrocnemius muscle, even though the peroneus longus and peroneus brevis
intervene, along with the tibialis posterior and the plantaris.
The height
of the rest carriage assembly can be adjusted according to the user's height and
features linear bearings.
The two
handgrips on the carriage assembly ensure a comfortable and stable position.
The
careful counterbalancing also ensures the user only works with the load actually
selected, without weighing down the grip handle.

weight plates.
The
simplicity of this machine does not limit its excellent operation in any way:
the special weight-bearing rods situated on the lateral machine uprights allow
for the necessary quantity of weight plates to be at hand at all times and the
end-limit shock absorber prevents sudden interruptions to the exercise.

Description:
The
extension of the foot performed with the knees straight is vital for the
development of the calf muscle. The range of movement of an ankle is rather
restricted, making it important for the effort to be applied constantly. In the
traditional exercise performed on the FI 27, the weight is rested on the
shoulders and is distributed onto various joints (spinal column, pelvis, knees
etc.) which are free to move. This is why it is highly likely that the effort is
lost and cancelled in stabilising and synergic movements. On the other hand, in
a position with the torso bent, which is the position obtained on the DONKEY
MACHINE, the weight is applied on the pelvis and the only free joint is the
ankle, whereas the effort is concentrated on the calves only.
The DONKEY
MACHINE therefore reproduces in the utmost safety the donkey raise exercise that
used to be performed with the help of a seated crouching companion. The carriage
assembly pelvic pad can be adjusted according to different starting degrees; the
user's arms rest on a comfortable pad fitted with a handle that stabilises the
user during the effort.
The
carriage assembly travels by means of linear bearings and the lateral
positioning of the counterweights allows for the load to be selected directly
from the workout position.

Description:
This
machine works on the quadriceps (vastus medialis, intermedialis and lateralis),
the glutes, sartorius muscle, femoral rectus of the quadriceps and the calf
muscles. This exercise is usually reserved for fit athletes, even though the
special backrest with a handgrip on either side increases the stability and
protection of the dorsal-lumbar spine.
The
pre-load lever and carriage assembly automatic releasing device allow for a
smooth starting position with the legs semi-stretched and the special rods
placed on the carriage assembly (travelling on linear bearings along steel bars
30 mm in diameter) allow the user to add weight plates to the standard
counterweights.
The large
footplate is tilt-adjustable, according to the flexibility of the user's ankles.

Description:
The
special downward inclination of the bench avoids the tension of the lower back
and allows for the isolation of the femoral, semimembranous and semitendinous
biceps muscles.
It is
vital that the articular joint of the knee coincides with the machine's
mechanical joint centre and that the user adjusts the push roller so that it
rests on the distal part of the legs.
If the
user keeps his/her feet flexed (toes pointing towards the floor and the foot at
a right angle with the leg), the calf muscles will not be affected, whereas if
the toes are pointing inwards, the semimembranous and semitendinous muscles are
developed more; on the contrary, if the toes are pointing outwards, the femoral
biceps will be affected.
The cam
allows for constant tension throughout the entire movement and the
counterbalancing allows the user to perform the exercise with the load actually
selected.
The two
handgrips placed horizontally at the base of the machine avoid stress to the
lumbar area and the lateral positioning of the counterweights allows for a rapid
change in load without having to get off the machine.

Description:
This
machine allows for the flexing-extending movement of the knee to strengthen the
quadriceps femoris, which is the biggest and most powerful muscle in the body
and is divided into four heads: vastus medialis, intermedialis and lateralis and
femoral rectus. In the seated position the femoral rectus is not affected
significantly.
The cam
allows for a constant tension throughout the entire movement, and the starting
angle of the latter can be selected on a special device. Equally, the height of
the push roller can be adjusted as well as the position of the backrest so that
the articular joint of the knee coincides with the machine's mechanical joint
centre.
The
counterbalancing makes the machine just as effective when using light loads and
the lateral position of the counterweights allows for a rapid change in load
without having to get out of the workout position.

muscle groups: the quadriceps, glutes, adductors, sartorius, calves and femoral
muscles.
The large
footplate allows the user to emphasise the workout on the glutes and femoral
muscles by positioning his/her feet towards the top part, or on the quadriceps
instead, by positioning them towards the inside, and the two handrails help
him/her onto and off the machine.
The
pre-load lever allows for a smooth starting position with the user's legs
stretched.
The
headrest is adjustable, thus allowing each user to adjust his/her position so
that the glutes are resting well against the seat; equally, the inclination of
the backrest can be adjusted according to the user's training needs and height.
Once the
user is positioned on the machine, he/she only need rotate the safety catch on
the carriage assembly to begin the flexing-extending movement of the lower limbs
in complete safety.
The two

Description:
This
machine allows the user to perform the classic exercise usually done during a
body conditioning class without the aid of a machine and in a quadrupedal
position, which involves the gluteus maximus and the gluteus medius.
The (sternal-thoracic)
chest rest is to be adjusted in such a way that the torso is slightly bent
forwards; the knee pad is also height-adjustable, so that the user only works on
the hip joint and the tension on the glutes is maintained. The push footplate is
hinged and the starting angle can be selected for easy access onto the machine;
